Authorities in New Zealand have told a South African chef he is too fat to be allowed to live in the country

When my uncle wanted to immigrate to Canada he and his wife had to pass an health exam too before they were allowed to immigrate (although that may be because of the Canadian healthcare system). These kind of rules aren't that uncommon, however if you're going to change the rules mid-game, have the decency to inform everybody it may affect. This is a horrible way to treat people. This man may be obese, he still is a person and had he been informed in a timely manner he would have had the chance to try to adhere to the new rules or plan ahead for returning to South Africa. Moving across the globe isn't something you just do in a few weeks.
