Why am I reading into this "Hey, Malala, come back all is forgiven. Give us another try to kill you. I'm sure we'll get it right this time." I swear, it's almost like an abusive husband trying to lure his wife back for one more fatal encounter. And that, perhaps, explains the Taliban.

That seems like a pretty good description of the Taliban, yes. :/

I can't quite verbalise, can't emphasize enough, how weak and pathetic and flimsy they must know their beliefs and faith are that they are so threatened by one teenager leveling criticism at them they must respond by shooting her in the head. I really can't.

No words for how angry this makes me. Can't express.

"Hey, we're not really sorry for shooting you in the head, we just didn't like what you said! We support education as long as it's sanctioned by us! Come home!"

...yeah, no.

No you're not against education for girls except the reading and math and everything else that goes on in school.

Actions speak louder than words, so when you stop shooting girls and promote education for them, maybe you won't look like a lying butt-hurt asshat.

Submission or death. Pretty much sums up the Taliban. Malala is one the bravest people on the planet, and it is so despicable that she has to be.
