Sometimes I feel that because I'm Asian there's no way of claiming racism. It's always Whites vs Blacks and there isn't any room in the general discourse for people of other colour

Yeah, it's pretty true, I'm sorry to say. It's kind of like how people are saying that Zimmerman can't be racist because he's Hispanic, as if there's no such thing as racism between Latin@ and black people. Racism goes all kinds of ways and we'll never defeat any of it as long as some kinds get acknowledged over others.
