To the mods: As of now, the source link is working correctly for me; not sure what was wrong there earlier.

Not sorry to see them go tbh. Especially since they managed to turn into an embarrassing mess, instead of a serious party (Ponader and his talkshow hopping; that teacher from NRW who twittered about her ONS and how she was afraid of having contracted STDs or one of their higher ups, who suddenly didn't support the free download of her book anymore).

majority of members (mostly male nerds)
Most Piraten I know irl would fit right into Reddit / MRA groups or could be featured on "Guys of OkCupid". Some of them tried to get me to join their party and upon being informed that I prefer a different party, they accused me of being a ~man-hating Alice Schwarzer-clone~. And of course they weren't sexist at all, since they were in favour of Femen *ugh*

Green Party, which actually pursues feminist policies, so that's something.
That's the platform of the Green Party in regards to feminist policies? I haven't really started reading into the different party platforms due to being too busy raging at Dobrindt / CSU in general and being amused by

Well, the Green party has a women's quota that makes it mandatory to fill the odd-numbered places of any election list with women. And there's the rule of filling leadership posts with two people, at least one of whom has to be a woman. Additionally, the party positions in many questions are decidedly pro-woman and counter the "husband works, woman stays in the kitchen" people that are still alive and well in, say, the CSU.

sorry not sorry to see them go tbh. they lost my sympathy once it turned out that they have their head so far buried in the internet that they thought sexism was hilarious or didn't exist.

[Sorry, readers, for the random German - just quoting a bit of my pirate tweeting discussion verbatim]

yeah reading about this stuff and their "realitätsferne" in other things quickly killed the euphoria I felt about them at first.
