I've been hearing all along that the place is leaking. After all, it isn't sealed up and the rods are known to be sitting on a roof. The place has been stabilized but just for now, not long term.

So most everyone has known the place is leaking and it's only that Tepco is scaling down its denials.

I'm glad Tepco is admitting it for the benefit of the people who choose to believe them. I agree with Ron Wyden (D-OR) that the world should be working to fix this up.
