Japan is home to an estimated 600,000 Koreans, with the vast majority the descendants of labourers brought to Japan during the years of its colonial rule of the Korean peninsula.

This is a fact that those anti-Korean protesters probably 'conveniently forget'. >_>

Dear Japan: Learn your lessons from history. For real. This nationalist/racial superiority stuff really doesn't end well for you.

I feel bad for the Korean population... it must be very scary to be such a minority amidst such hatred. :/

Bah. I just...can't imagine such hatred that you are willing to stand up in public and yell that your neighbors should 'die die die'. WTF.

I hope the older heads prevail. A violent confrontation would be ugly as hell. I like that the anti-hate-group managed to get more people there than the hate group.

The group also alleges members of the communities conceal their true identity and nationality by taking a Japanese name as an "alias".

Oh. I wonder why. It's not like there's a hate group that's protesting for the extermination of Koreans--OH WAIT.

I follow Japanese baseball and have seen this weird phenomena that goes on, where some people in Japan will come up with these weird theories that so-and-so famous Japanese person is really a Korean who is just pretending to be a Japanese, bla bla bla... Its pretty strange.

/cool story bro
