I want it to be my home state of Oregon, but IDK how likely it is. Outside Portland and Eugene it's still very conservative, and the fact we do have domestic partnerships gives the antis an opening to argue it's not necessary - same sex couples already have protections (inadequate, second rate ones, but who cares about the truth?).

Hmm. Though Washington state is sort of similar in that respect, isn't it? Maybe if California ever comes to its senses, it and Washington can gang up on Oregon.
