Sometimes it amazes me that America is such a big power when some people/states advocate such backward stances.

I find it hard to get my head around how they believe it to be true, but from their perspective I guess it makes sense.

CREATIONISM IS NOT SCIENCE. ERGO, CREATIONISM DOES NOT BELONG IN SCIENCE CLASSES. IT BELONGS IN CHURCH, SEEING AS IT DAMNED WELL IS "RELIGIOUS DOCTRINE", YOU SHITPORPOISES.

I cannot believe the balls of these people, and that really isn't a compliment. It takes a special kind of fool to go up against seventy freaking Nobel laureates.

I hope there are some science teachers in Louisiana who are willing to really "teach creationism" -- that is, teach it as an example of BAD science that doesn't actually follow the scientific method and has no legitimate scientific standing. Sort of a "Goofus and Gallant" of scientific methodology.

See how fast the legislature would be putting a lid on "teaching creationism" in public schools then.

(In reality, nothing would probably happen other than that teacher being fired. But I can dream.)
