Part of me is incredibly pissed that this was even said. The rest of me is sort of just like, "Uh, Inose. Remind me again how many friends your nation has in your own hemisphere? Now compare it to the number of nations who hold massive grudges? What would you say you hold 'in common' with other Asian nations?"

Japan's rich and vibrant history in xenophobia towards everything that cannot be assimilated into Japan strikes again!

Personally, I don't think Tokyo deserves to win. If they wanted the Olympics to come to Japan again, they should have chosen a better city (Fukuoka whut whuuut). Tokyo is insane and packed to the max with people right now as it is. I think it would be a nightmare.
