Great summary. I was just brushing up on ALEC the other day too.

Very good article, and very true too. Related to the theme of this article, that a minority currently have the loudest voice... the other day, I read that the NRA has 4 million members but the American people number about 300 million. Yet they managed to throw a wrench in the fight for better gun control.

Maybe it's time the majority sees what's going on and becomes the squeaky wheel.

the way the law is written, that also means no oral sex in the Old Dominion, not even for married straight couples.

I'm not married or straight or part of a couple but you can take away my oral sex when you pry it from my cold, dead hands mouth.

actually I don't think it's logically possible to take away something I never had in the first place #foreveralone BUT STILL JUST ON PRINCIPLE I cling to my potential future oral sex. someday. hopefully.

And as they become bolder in their claims, those of us who, in fact, represent the majority - supporting equitable policies on taxation, gun safety, access to reproductive care and the like - tend to limit ourselves. We begin to believe that we represent a minority in our country. We don't.

There is the inherent danger of having a PR machine like FOX media pretending to be a news outlet.
