Some of the comments on Rick Santorum's page are worth reading.

I just took a glance. Surprisingly, they are not all in favor of this family. Many of the comments point out that they are here illegally and that being white and Christian are the main reasons anyone is supporting them.

The lack of hypocrisy kind of refreshing.

I'm not for violence, but I make an exception for Glen Beck. I want to slap him into the next universe.

When I first heard of this family I almost entered a rage fit. For all the reasons one would want to leave Germany, they are leaving because for once Germany actually acts on a law that serves a fucking purpose? Yeah right.

(seriously though, I don't want them in Germany either, but they are not persecuted, ergo if they want to immigrate to the states there are other way to do it that don't involve pretending to have a legitimate reason to seek asylum)

I propose sending them to Arizona (as soon as we figure out how to get the Canyon out and fence all the crazies in).

"One, they’re terrorists; two, they’re escaping the law; or three, they’re hungry. They can’t make a living in their own dirtbag country."
These people are escaping the law! I know. It's different because they are white Christian evangelicals doing God's work. Yeah. Sure.

My grandma told me she saw people exchanging Social Security cards for cash in a crowded Thousand Oaks mall on a Saturday once. Also, all the "illegals" in the ER, but she won't tell me how she knew they were "illegal" (something tells me they weren't speaking English).

Sure she did. Just like the co-worker who tells me they see people buying liquor and cigarettes with their food card. Funny, when I ask for the name of the store where they saw this, so I can report said store and they can be shut down, either they can't remember or they'll backpedal with 'well, I thought they were.'
