Argentina protests after Kirchner is called 'an old hag'

Argentina has made an official protest after the Uruguayan president was caught on microphone apparently referring to President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner as an "old hag".

Wow, I'm impressed that he managed to insult both President Kirchner and her late husband in one go.

And by "impressed" I mean "revolted".

One should definitely care to be polite towards a leader of a state, and her late husband, who has time and time shown to be corrupt. Mujica, the world's poorest president, "who lives on a ramshackle farm and gives 90% of his earnings to charity" should be ashamed of himself really. Instead of "old hag" I would have opted for "corrupt pig", or "old/young hypocrite" (if we're dealing with personal attributes) etc ( ... )

Even good people can say assholish things. Doesn't make gendered insults any better if a person who says them is a saint.

If you have a problem with someone, come up with an insult that pertains to how they act, not just something about their gender. :/
