I agree that this is a great project, but I'm kind of disturbed by the way he's completely writing off social sciences. I mean, no wonder the Republican party has so much trouble appealing to voters, if they're completely dismissive of the idea of trying to understand anything about them.
I read "White House pitches brain mapping project" as "White House is throwing away the idea of a brain mapping project" and was pissed. I'm glad to see it's the opposite!
