Making violent people surrender their guns seems like such common sense to me. They can obviously still kill using other methods, but it makes it that much harder to do so.

It reminds me of that man that took the little boy hostage for a week. He had previously beat a neighbor's dog to death with a lead pipe. And they didn't think to take away his guns then? I just don't get it.

Jesus Christ on a pogo stick, a gun is a fucking weapon, not a talisman! If these idiots think that gun rights trump the safety of a person......I shouldn't be surprised. Conservatives think houses are more important than sick people.

This article, combined with all the recent news about abortion restrictions (six-week-old fetus is more important than the woman who's carrying it!), is making me wonder why I ever thought otherwise.
