California bill would reimburse same-sex couples for extra tax costs

LGBT activists and leaders at Facebook all came out in support of legislation introduced by California State Assemblymember Phil Ting on Valentine's Day that will greatly benefit anyone in a same-sex relationship. Ting, a Democrat from San Francisco, and San Francisco County Supervisor Mark Farrell announced the introduction of state legislation

Sounds good. Another reason to get rid of DOMA.

DOMA needs to diaf immediately, if not sooner. Since that's not going to happen any time very soon (although I believe it will eventually), blessings on Cali for trying to do something to help offset the inequity, at lest a little bit, in the meantime.
