What the fuck. "Misspoke." So tired of this trivializing word "misspoke." It was like being punched in the gut in high school every time the *students* were homophobic assholes. The bile that he spewed, coming from a teacher, really quite literally might have sent me to a suicide attempt. Yes, exactly. That word 'misspoke' leapt out at me, too, as an utter weasel word. And I thought of the effects his 'whoopsie! My bad!' words would be having on vulnerable people who deserve none of it.
