I've heard this also goes against the Virginia state constitution, so there's a good chance it could be struck down that way, too.

This was absolutely foul, and I'm glad there are Republicans who are also mad about this. This was a low trick, and it sets terrible precedent. I hope McDonnell refuses to sign it into law.

I hope they get slapped down so hard that they spend the rest of their terms digging back up to ground level. Republicans are certainly getting a reputation as sneaky bastards who only think rules apply to everyone else.

Not surprieed tbqh. Virginia's a purple state but you wouldn't know it the way they've rigged our state government.

Also McDonnell's transportation bill sucks. And he sucks.
There's a lot of suck involved here.
