It is horrifying and disgusting to know that gulags, forced labor, and slavery are still going strong. Seems like we've barely climbed up a rung in the ladder of empathy and compassion, and descended a couple in paranoia and cruelty.

I hope this person wasn't found out, or that anyone suffered worse punishment when this went public. I wish I could stop buying products all but soaked in this kind of misery and despair - I wish my country as a whole could stop being so greedy and cheap that we could refuse this nationwide.
