This and the resulting outpouring of 'awww, poor bb' in the city is such a Toronto thing. Idek.

Also, the North York Ikea is fucking magical. If I ever decide to uhaul with a girlfriend that's where we'll go.

to uhaul with a girlfriend

I've never heard uhaul as a verb before but that is 150% the perfect use for it.

Fiance and I go to that one all the time. Sometimes just for a wander and a hot dog.

Have you been to the Etobicoke one? They have a bunch furnished model homes in different sq. footages in that one.

a species that is illegal in Ontario. Steve Johnston said charges were laid against the owner, an offence notice, which has a set fine of $240 for having a prohibited animal in the city.

So wait, do they know who the owner is? Is this not just some mysterious abandoned monkey? I NEED TO KNOW THE FACTS.

Presumably if they laid charges against the owner and know that 'the monkey managed to open its crate, unlock the car door and go for a stroll' then they know who owns it?

Yeah, they know who the owner was. Apparently they returned to their car to find the hub-bub. The monkey was surrendered over so technically he (she?) isn't theirs anymore.
