I have come to the point that nothing Harper does surprises me. He can be an ass, he can be clueless, he can walk all over Parliamentary rules and traditions - doesn't surprise me. The only way he could surprise me is by doing something intelligent, by doing the RIGHT thing.

I admit that I don't have a strong foundation in relations between the Israelis and the Palestinians, but it seems to me that the U.N. move ought to mean (doesn't mean it will though) that there is a slightly more equal playing field now. I don't see how that's a bad thing.

Can I just say that now I understand why Justin Beiber met him in less than formal attire. I wouldn't have shown up at all. Harper, when will you leave?
