Despite what the Republican Party of Maine might want people to believe, playing "World of Warcraft" does not make a person unfit to hold office.

Or so Colleen Lachowicz proved Tuesday night.

Lbr as first-gen gamers and those that followed grow older, nearly every politician will have a rogue orc or the equivalent of one.

And then it'll be not about whether or not you play games, but what kind of games you play. "He plays games that don't have any multiplayer! He's not good at working with people!"

ikr, as more and more Gen X'ers and Millenials end up in public office, we'll ALL have online alter-egos.

I used to play WoW all the time and it was an A+ stress reliever. Not sure why they used it as a reason for her to not be elected, but I'm glad she got it. I want to be in her guild.

I had so many characters that it just made sense to be in a guild because grinding was so easy. I was a tauren protection paladin because someone told me that girls couldn't tank and I was like, O RLY?

weeeell i prefer objective modes and not trolling, but playing splitscreen with another person always turns in to playing hardcore team deathmatch and trolling people who team-kill us.

follow them around, get in their way, destroy their equipment, kill them to interrupt their kill streak, steal their care packages, throw flashbangs at them, run in front of their guns/grenades, throw decoy grenades or shoot wildly to draw attention to their hiding spots... there's lots of stuff you can do

Congrats Senator-elect Colleen Lachowicz!

And no kidding her outing by the GOP backfired big time. It was totally ridiculous to begin with. Gaming is a multi-billion dollar industry because guess what? There are tons of gamers out there, including myself. One of my biggest stress relievers? Playing Streets of Rage on the Genesis after a crappy day at work!
