This is off the top of my head and I am tired from staying up, but this means that Puerto Rico would like to be a member of the United States. Puerto Rico has to ask Congress to become a state, and so far Congress had never denied the request. I think they already meet criteria currently in place, but I'm not sure. I am skeptical that Republicans will be happy with this, since they are brown people and talk funny. (Repub definitions, not mine)

I'm seeing a lot of fear -- mostly, I think, from people who don't get that the economy is more complicated than one position (the presidency) and... well, seem to think Romney had an economic plan, and that the recession was Obama's fault.

So... just what you'd expect, actually.

On the bright side, I saw a few younger conservatives post to the effect that the anti-LGBT anti-abortion-in-cases-of-rape-and-incest squad brought their team down and need to be kicked to the curb. They said it in a way that meant "Liberals, watch out, we're getting rid of our handicaps and coming at you strong!" To which I have to say... "Guys, I got NO PROBLEM with you getting rid of a bit of your hate. I'm not threatened by... having less threats."
