Jesus, it's DISASTER relief, not an Obama rally. Like, I just honestly cannot. There don't NEED to be 'conservative performers' (and honestly, who would they even get?), because this SHOULDN'T BE A PARTISAN ISSUES.
Based on which performers have self-identified as conservative, they'd get fans of aging white mediocre rockers-- Meat Loaf, Kid Rock, Charlie Daniels, Ted Nugent, Lynyrd Skynyrd. Did I miss anyone?
(And meanwhile, we get U2, Springsteen, Beyoncé, and Bon Jovi. I'll take that.)
What are they supposed to do? Make people wait even longer for help? This makes no sense at all. I'd like to know where the conservative performers are as well. Nothing is stopping Ted Nugent from organizing a relief concert if he wants to.
That's a good question. Granted, it was announced on very short notice, but presumably a few days were spent organizing it and contacting people, and I'm sure word spread to other famous people before the official announcement. Why didn't any conservative performers volunteer at any point?
Oh sorry, that wasn't what they meant at all. Of course the relief concert was invitation-only. They probably had bouncers to keep out the riff-raff.
Questionable timing? Hmm, yes, it's all coming to me, now. The Democrats supported climate change awareness just so the Republicans would scoff at it. This, of course, led to hurricane Sandy hitting at this precise time, right before the election, showing that the Democrats were willing to KILL all these people and do billions on billions of dollars of damage JUST to make Obama look good for the election! It's all the Democrats fault!

HAARP?! Dear Diety-of-your-choice, I haven't heard that program referenced for years. I remember when they were looking at kicking that thing on - there was a conspiracy theory that it might blow a hole in the Oh!-Zone layer.. like a pin prick in a balloon.. *pop*
