Well, I'm gonna give it to Chris Christie for setting aside partisan politics for a few minutes.

I bet the Republicans aren't going to be pleased about this at all *tries not to laugh but fails*

Good for Christie for putting aside political differences, rolling up his sleeves and getting shit done to help his people.

Sounds like he's not thinking politics at all, and just looking out for his folks, so he's grateful for the support he's received.

That's refreshing, he sounds cool. (I'm non US so I hope he is and I haven't got it totally wrong)

Sadly, no. Normally, he's an obnoxious blowhard who likes to scream at and browbeat anyone who questions him or disagrees with him...and then he posts videos of his nasty behavior online to brag about being a jerk.

That's why this type of thing is so very surprising. It's really uncharacteristic.

Yeah I was just reading how incredibly shocked everyone is at his behaviour at the moment.

Wow, well, he's definitely living in the moment for now.

It's refreshing to see a politician who may belong to one party actually show common sense and praise the person who is helping his state get back on it's feet, even if it's the leader of the opposing party a week before his own candidate goes up against them.

And oh god, the Lucasfilm news *shudder*

Romney should stay away, far far away. No one gives a shit about voting right now in the worst effected areas, all they want to do is sort out their lives or unfortunately put their loved ones to rest who died. I'm sure he'd be told exactly how they feel if he came all slimey and smiling trying to look like he cares.

He was on FauxNews and CBS practically gushing about Obama's leadership. Dude has major balls. The Republican machine is going to be pissed.

Oh and President Obama will be touring New Jersey with the governor tomorrow. Meanwhile, Mittens is botching his "relief effort". LOL
