Sure, If Mitt Romney was Mexican, Maybe Latinos Would Vote for Him, Not!

Are the Polls Undercounting Latino Obama Backers?
Evidence from the 2010 elections suggests pollsters may be ignoring Spanish-speaking Latinos-potentially making Colorado and Nevada safer bets for Obama than they appear.

Interesting ......

One thing making feel somewhat good about this election is Ohio , I know it's still early but I think the auto industry is going to lean towards Obama and get him that win. It will be really difficult for Mittens to win without Ohio .....

My dad and my cousin are both latinos voting for Mittens. IDGI. Although they do both fall into categories the article identifies as 'more likely to vote Republican' -- not immigrants and English dominant. It just frustrates me how much they don't see how little Republicans care about communities like the one my family comes from.

The ones in Arizona aren't thrilled with Romney, either. He endorses people like Brewer and Arpaio.

Barreto argues that the polls often miss working-class Latinos, who are more likely to use cellphones, work long hours, and prefer to speak Spanish.

Aside from the 'speaking Spanish' part, that describes most younger, working class, democratically inclined voters as well. Work a lot, prefer a cell phone (or don't even have a land-line) and automatically hang up on robo-calls. That's definitely me- I refuse to stay on the line for a machine.

We don't have a Latin@ tag?

Absolutely.

The weirdest are the robo calls that ask you to hold. Haven't gotten any of those recently, thank goodness.
