The purges may have been suggested by the first deputy director of the General Political Bureau of the North Korean People's Army, Kim Jong-gak.

So the existing powers are using his insecurities to take out their rivals? Well, if the rest of the world has any sense, we'll stay far away from this. Sooner or later Kim Jong Un will try to take actual power from these people and probably be eliminated himself.
