8 and 6 looks the same in English and Spanish. But right, human error. Sure, sure. That's totally plausible.

Any other county in the country and I might be inclined to believe it was a human error, but Maricopa County, home to Joe Arpaio? Nope.

UGHH fuck them. I tried to get my absentee ballot from them (I'm in the military) and after I sent in my application, I didn't get anything for a couple weeks so I called. That's when they decided to tell me "Oh yeah your application was cancelled." ORLY?! THANKS FOR THE UPDATE. She said it's because I wasn't picking up my mail from address anymore. Well, yeah. Cuz I joined the military...Anyway. So I tried to re-submit it but they were just being really dodgy, transferring my call 3 or 4 times, etc. One lady said to me, I kid you not, "Well, I know that in the military they have, like, commanders....or chiefs...and sometimes they give out ballots in bulk. Why can't you do that?" ARE YOU FUCKIN SERIOUS RN YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT THATS NOT HOW THIS WORKS. So. much. rage. I have to vote through my Home of Record, lady. Anyway, it turns out I could vote through a different county, so that's what I did. Got my ballot this morning and sent that shit in already. BAM. Done.
