They have no apparent idea that one can be a martyr AGAINST their cause, as well as TO their cause, do they?

Congrats, Taliban. You already had nearly the entire world against you and your ilk, and by one gunshot, you wrote your own death warrant (whether real, or implied).

Totally seconding the OPs GTFOHWTBS. You attempted to murder a child and have vowed to finish the job if she survives -- I don't even have a reason to piss on you if you were on fire, even if I was sympathetic to you beforehand (which I wasn't, given how little I know about the Pakistani Taliban... I had no opinion). -_-

Pakistan’s interior minister, Rehman Malik, says the government has posted a $1 million bounty on Ehsanullah Ehsan, the Pakistani Taliban spokesman who claimed responsibility for the shooting.

I am impressed that they are actually this upset about it and i hope that this is the beginning of the end of the Taliban's fear campaign against their own people.
