GOP's Next Quest: Pin the Blame on the Dems.

Letting us in on a secret

When House Republicans called a hearing in the middle of their long recess, you knew it would be something big, and indeed it was: They accidentally blew the CIA’s cover.

I think the whole point is:
A) The death in Libya was a terrorist attack
B) The death in Libya was on Obama's watch
C) Obama HAD to know it was a terrorist attack and did nothing

Therefore
Obama is WEAK ON TERRURISM AND KILLED BRAVE SOLDIERS THEREFORE ROMNEY IS BETTER!

Is (was) the presence of the CIA in Benghazi a secret? If so then why did that State Department official say it was "entirely unclassified"?As I understand it, the fact that there was/is a presence wasn't secret. However what happened was this. The State Department was saying the photo was unclassified, but only because they were deliberately neglecting to say that the photo included a building that housed CIA operatives. Chaffetz knows that the building was actually housing CIA operatives, but didn't realize that the State Department guy was deliberately keeping that fact under cover, and blurted out that the photo was showing classified information, which then forced the State Department witness to admit that, yes, there were people in that building who were not technically State Department (they were CIA ( ... )

I kind of feel bad for Chaffetz- he was trying to stop classified material from being displayed, but not only did it appear on national fucking television, he also ended up underlining the fact that there was important classified info there. /:

Two words. Valery Plame. Not surprised at all - its how Repugs roll.

And let's not forget that it also reminded people that Repugs cut spending on embassy security.
