It's really incredibly frustrating when US news only shows the worst, most fear-mongering events and ignores everything else. Thank fuck for Al Jazeera and the BBC. And NPR.

I hope the Libyan people find their stride and really move forward in peace.

I just saw this story on my local news station, but the way they were reporting it made it sound exactly like the "Muslim rage" stories that the US media has been so fond of.
