Eager to shoot down President Obama’s legislative agenda just weeks before the election, Senate Republicans on Wednesday blocked a measure that would have provided $1 billion over five years to help veterans find work in their communities.

I love how Republicans will trot our veterans out as heroes as a means to rally the base with some AMURRIKA FUCK YEAH propaganda, but as soon as those vets come home and need our help they shit on them instead of giving them a helping hand. Hypocrites, the lot of them!

that Mitch McConnell, Senate minority leader from Kentucky, and Senate Republicans “are willing to do absolutely anything to fulfill the pledge he made nearly two years ago to defeat President Obama.

Every single one of those folks can go take a vacation to the center of the sun.
