Sasha really looks kind of lost. I just want to climb into that picture and wrap my arms around him and hug him and tell him it's okay. His face in that first pic reminds me of this comment someone left on a news story about him:

Have you ever noticed Artemev’s eyes? They look like a person who has recently been seriously ill. Or wearing make-up, I guess, but that’s not particularly likely. It always makes me sad when I look at his face, like he’s suffered a world of hurt or something.

IA. The first time I laid eyes on Sasha, I was immediately drawn to him. He looked like he was ill... or a little abused puppy that needed love and affection. So unbeknownst to dear Sasha, I have been loving him with all of my heart ever since, in hopes that he will somehow telepathically feel my love and be able to bring O_O to n_n

Sounds like the beginning of a romance novel. But his O_O really does make me love him even more.

so true! the guy is pretty damn sexy, just watch him on the pommel horse...but his O__O breaks my heart. My sister told me once that I have like, naive eyes or some crap like that, because they're, well, they're too hopeful. Sasha reminds me of that, he looks so eager to please and naive and I want to push the cruel world away while I hug him and bake him cookies and do unspeakable things.

he probably isn't, but he just SEEMS so small and hopeful and cute and AWWW. his fiancee is either extremely sweet or a controlling bitch.
