ANOTHER OLYMPICS NERD. :D :D I love watching the games!
Summer Olympics are synchronized swimming (it's SO hard, so I have a lot of respect for it), diving, Soccer(!!!!), and track. I prefer the winter games more too.
Ahhh, I forgot about diving. Love it. I stan for Alexandre Despaties, because we live in the same city (homeboy!) and he's amazing, personality wise. And omg, the synchronized swimming. I don't know how they do it, it must be magic. And the fact that they smile during their whole routine, just wow. And it's probably because I'm Canadian, but I love Winter games sfm with Hockey, Freestyle Ski and Figure Skating. It's perfect!
Fellow Canuck here, so I TOTALLY get your love for the Winter Games. I remember my parents letting my wee self stay up late to watch the Figure Skating finals back in 1988. EVERYONE in my class was following the 'Battle of the Brian's'. :D
Alexandre seems like such a nice guy when they do profiles on him during competitions. I hope he goes far this year.
CSB: My eldest brother trained under Marnie McBean for rowing in the early 90's at his University. He got REALLY good, and quit a family vacation short so he could fly home and try out for the some pre-olympic team (as he described it; details are rusty 20+ years later). He didnt make the cut.

Did anyone else picture Dom in a leopard print tracksuit? Because I just threw up in my mouth.
UPDATE!
They are not doing the relay. There is a list of torchbearers here and none of them are on there. Which sucks.
