In the Fisher King episode, how did Arthur not put the pieces together to figure out that Merlin might be magic? That was an entire episode devoted to Arthur's obliviousness and the ending made it worse when he effectively claimed credit for something he knew he didn't do alone.

Merlin finds the room, Merlin stands with the trident for a good five minutes, Arthur walks in and goes "Look what I found!" Yes, true sign he's finally ready to be king. :|
