What We Want in Captain America 2

Cap is returning in 2014. What do us fans need to see most in it?

As much as we're all excited for the imminent release of The Avengers, we're also looking ahead to what Marvel Studios has planned in the next few years. Last week they announced thatCaptain America 2 is scheduled for release on April 4, 2014. That means we have just under two years

because Sebastian Stan is gorgeous and we need to see more of him. Also, glorious potential for angst.

Agreed! Although I kind of want them to wait for a potential 3rd or 4th movie. Because I imagine a lot of the 2nd will focus on Steve adjusting to his new life and dealing with having everyone he ever loved being gone. If you bring Bucky into that too soon, suddenly he has an anchor to his past, somebody he already knows and loves, and it takes away from Steve's growth in our century, you know?

Yeah, I agree with you too, that way Bucky's return would have much more of an impact if we have seen just how poorly Steve really is adjusting to the present, and how much he misses everyone from before. On the same note I'm terribly curious about the deleted scenes from the Avengers where Joss explored Steve's whole sense of displacement, and also got to visit Peggy (the long awaited dance scene?).

On the other hand, if we did add the Winter Soldier to the mix, there'd be some fascinating exploration of not only Cap's history, but possibly also the Black Widow's. Not to mention we'd have another potential recruit for the Avengers sequel. ;)

I'm leaning towards Zemo, as it could be quite an interesting plot.
