This is an open suggestions thread.

Some questions to maybe answer---
What do you want in our other mod? Do you have any exciting ideas for discussion? How do you think discussion should be handled? How many posts should we have? Should we have a book club 'host' and will they be as awesome as Juliet was? What pace should we read the books at? Who ( Read more... )

A discussion leader would be a good idea. Maybe we can have a different leader with each discussion, so all members can participate more ( ... )

I like your idea of having different types of discussions. I think that would really help keep people involved. Especially if they happen a few times throughout the book so everyone has a chance to share thoughts along the way and not just at the end :)

I like the idea of an open discussion versus a literary strategies discussion. That was the best name I could come up with for the second type.

Maybe for each book there can be one post where people post group questions about the book, and then when we all finish a post can present them, and we can answer what we want.

Like, it'd be a way for us to ask things as we come up with them while reading so at the end we have to reexamine things?

That...make sense?

OR whoever is discussion leader, if we do that, comes up with that sort of thing.

So like a while reading for us to post questions in and that sort of thing post and then a finished reading post where we answer said questions and discuss?

Maybe we could do little breaks with short stories? Maybe even short stories with online links?
