Dead characters (and Walt) check in (USA Today)
Every Lost viewer knows Jack, Kate and Sawyer, but they are hardly the only memorable characters. Some live, many died, a couple even got off the island. A few of those actors reflected on the show to USA TODAY at a concert of Lost music last week.

It is hard to imagine a partnership stronger than that between Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof, executive producers of Lost.
With co-creator J.J. Abrams off to direct Mission: Impossible III, Lindelof, 37, turned to his friend Cuse, whom he had worked with on Nash Bridges, for help in the day-to-day running of the show.
