ONE WEEK OUT

May 30, 2010 16:39

It's been a week since the series finale. Just think, last week at around this time we were preparing to watch the most epic TV event OF ALL TIME. But now we've experienced it. I don't think there is a general fan consensus on the ending itself [WHICH I THINK SPEAKS VOLUMES ABOUT LOST FANS <3], but from what I've read around the community and ( Read more... )

And to answer the questions, I loved the finale, but it made me cry. Therefore I haven't watched it again, as much as I loved it. ;w;

My favorite reunions were Claire/Charlie and Juliet/Sawyer.

I swear that the more I think about the finale, the connections, the spirituality of it, the more I love it.

It's funny you would mention the ~Jate is Fate~ thing though cause one of the few problems I had was no closure for the Sawyer/Kate relationship. It would have been nice to see them interact a little. Or (in my happy world) at the end, they would have been seated Juliet - Sawyer - Kate - Jack in the church so they could have honored the love square as a whole :3

I know there weren't many answers, but as you said, the spirituality of it made it seem so conclusive and perfect.

Has your opinion changed on the finale? Stayed the same?
Yeah, pretty much the same. I am satisfied with the finale. I'm not a huge fan of season 6 overall, though.
I feel that while characters come first, I still think the mysteries were important and should have been paid more attention to. The finale worked better without all that, perhaps, and that's cool. But then the mysteries could have been tended to better in the earlier episodes of the season instead of spending time on stupid Temple people and such.

Have you rewatched it numerous times? Just once? NEVER?!
I watched it for the second time yesterday when abc reaired it with the enhanced pop-up thingies.

Who had the best reunion?
Suliet.

Is Jate really Fate?
Well, I guess they loved each other and such.

Were you satisfied with Who Was Mom?
Naturally.

Waaaaaaaaaaaalt?
I WISH I KNEW.

I hated the finale at first, negl. I think, however, this was a knee jerk reaction combined with lack of sleep, anger and denial about the series ending.

Now, I love it. The more I think about it, the more I change my mind. I keep finding new layers and new things to love, and I haven't even seen it for a second time. I think the more I watch it, the more I'll end up loving and appreciating the series as a whole. I can't wait to re-watch this show from the beginning. ♥

The finale definitely succeeded on the level of making Jack and Kate likable for the first time EVER. It only took them six seasons, but they did it. :D

I mean I liked them in S1 but that was more because Jack was being more pragmatic and Kate was new and not love triangle'd out yet.
