alright, so i don't know if it's real, or i just wanted to think it's real...but, in the season 4 extra doc, soundtrack of survival, jj is shown on a set and to his left it looks like spock's ship. doesn't it?!? i watched the movie twice this weekend, and checked the dvds, and it looks the same, no?
