Sky1 (it's the network that airs Lost in the UK) has a new addition to it's Lost site about the Freighter peeps. You get to vote for your favorite character, so naturally I had to represent for Faraday. But when I was going through the gallery, on page 4 it says ( Read more... )

....WHAT
LOL I AM SO CONFUSED

EDIT: oh, are we talking about the Daniel age discrepancy that meant if his mom was pregnant with him when she shot him, he would have been a professor at Oxford at 19? Cause yeah, that is whack. I never thought about it in terms of Theresa though lmao.

Ugh, so if it's true that Dan was in Eloise tummy during the time of "the incident." This means that Annie's going to be the device that they're going to explore the pregnancy crap through. Unfortunately, that would make a lot of sense. But Ben's a virgin, dammit! I'd accept an island-induced immaculate conception story rather than Ben sticking his boy-thing into, well, anything.

Basically, a lot of us thought the pregnancy complications began with Eloise and she was pregnant with another kid that wasn't Daniel in 1977. The detonation of the bomb emitted radiation or something that would cause the pregnant women to die. Eloise came in close contact to the bomb ( ... )

Aaaah.
Makes sense.

Or Annie could have been preggers with another dude's chick (which could explain why Ben has the emotional maturity of a turned down twelve year old, and that way he could still be a virgin)

You mean that dude who keeps track of the guns??? lmao
He's probably having a mental breakdown as we speak "I can keep track off all the freaking guns from episode to episode, season to season. But you fail at doing 96-77 = 19 and realising that Daniel may be brilliant but being a prof at Oxford at 19 is a bit of a stretch????"*headdesk*

Yeah, Eloise saying her being pregnant is the exact reason why she needs to help Jack was a big tip-off but it just didn't mesh at all with a bunch of other things...

All the more reason for me to think season 5 as sloppy as hell. :(
Of course, time travel is always going to have a bunch of screw-ups.

Yeah, I'm where you are.

It'd be a lot nicer if all the math worked out, but I just like to pretend the year Dan was at Oxford was just off so his birth year is still okay. It may mess up a few things in the Des timeline, but that's all a blur really, anyway.
