Actually, I've been hoping all along that in the final episode, Hurley will reveal that he brought the guitar to the island in order to set everything right through the magic of music. And EVERYONE will sing.

He set things right in season 1 with the power of golf. Forshadowing? WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE?

Exactly! He learned to play in the loony bin, it was occupational therapy. (We just didn't get to see it, like we didn't get to see why Libby was also there.) And he will strike a great chord, and Yellow Submarine-like animation will accompany him, and possibly Sebastian the Crab will pop out of the sea to conduct the orchestra of Hurleybirds, and through a series of musical numbers in varying styles EVERYTHING WILL BE SORTED OUT.
I am looking forward to Sun and Jin's duet that opens a passage through time for them to be reunited!

It's all so clear to me now, this is why Jacob made sure that Hurley got the guitar, it was all part of his plan to bring harmony to the island. Wow, the final is going to be EPIC. Will Sun and Jin's duet be in Korean or English?
