I think it's amusing.

Anyone else aware of the Tommy Westphall Universe?

Short version: There was a show, St. Elsewhere. It had a total mindfuck of a last episode, whereupon we realized that the whole show was an autistic kid's daydream. (It's seriously 20 years old, we're past the spoiler freshness date) Anyway; the hell of it is, actual characters from St Elsewhere popped up in a bunch of different shows, interacted with other characters, and 'infected' an absurd amount of television. All interconnected somehow. The upshot is that you could crack out and believe almost anything you see on TV is just a story in a kid's head.

I'd love to see LOST create a similar sort of playverse. Just have Ben randomly wander in and out of a few shows, stick Widmore in the background of a few places. See Jack as a doc in the background somewhere. Just go crazy - the early interconnected flashbacks of the show gone total apeshit.

I don't care how this happens, it just needs to.

I would watch almost any stupid-ass show if it meant that Juliet or Ben or Richard were going to be in some blurry background scene for five seconds.

Exactly. Guess I didn't make that clear. It's not exactly slash, just a fun idea a friend and I thought up.

The fact that he's supposed to be seventy is Exhibit B in my Craphole-Island-gives-its-inhabitants-longevity-and-strength theory.

Exhibit A is Juliet Burke.

Yeah, it's probably easier at this stage to list shows Alan Dale hasn't been in, LOL. He does seem to crop up everywhere these days, even playing himself in Moving Wallpaper.
