Rereading Mysterious Skin by Scott Heim.

I feel like I haven't read anything new that isn't YA in a while. Sad.

what are you reading now?

I finished The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao as well as another book I got side-tracked with, Emma Donoghue's Room (which I read in a little more than a day). Neither are light reads but they're both fantastic.

Now I'm concentrating on my re-read of Secret History.

I just can't get into the Oscar Wao novel because I loved the short story so much.

i did. i'm in the apparent minority that loved it.

it really made up for season three for me and i loved all the cameos and the plot and the twist.

IDK, a lot of the ontders on the mothership seem to like it, too.

I'm in the middle of the movie, I keep watching it in 5 - 10 min increments lol. I was never a HUGE fan of the show, although I liked it well enough.

What do you think of it so far?

I always think that Malinda's books sound intriguing, but IMO she has a lot of problems with pacing.

So far it's good, definitely not too fast-paced nor too slow... the huntress hasn't been introduced quite yet - but I like what I've read so far :)
