I liked the Neville/Hermione friendship in the first books, though half of the time it looked like a pity friendship.
Harry/Luna in book five was cute, I wish there had been more of that in HBP and DH. My head-canon for them is that when Harry was overwhelmed by all his "Chosen One" duties, he would go and spend some time with Luna looking for inexistent creatures, just to get away from everything else.
I love Matt Lewis and Tom Felton's friendship irl.
You know one thing that I loved about Luna is that she had that big painting of her friends on her ceiling. It was like, you didn't really realize how important they were to her til they were in her house and saw it... it made me really glad that they had stepped forward and befriended her, since so many other kids before them just kind of saw her as the Ravenclaw house punching bag. LUNA YOU ARE ADORBS.
I think Rowling does friendship wonderfully. The trio. All of DA working together. The Marauders.... I really can't think of any grouping of friends that I dislike, honestly. I think it's unfortunate that Snape fell into such a bad crowd, though.
I don't know who I'd be friends with! Cool peoples that liked me, I guess. Mah fellow dorm pals.
We would head to Hogsmeade and eat and chill out in Hog's Head gossiping about all the goings on. Build an epic snowman in the winter. General frolicking and merriment.
