Are ducks especially significant on Memorial Day? Not being American I really have no idea.

I don't think so. Only in Gublerland, where the ducks also have teeth.

The red-haired girl is his sister Laura, and her husband is the guy in the black shirt. I only know that b/c they have Twitters. :)

I think from left to right it's his dad, stepmom, sis Laura, himself, brother, and Laura's husband.
