Chris sounds great on It's Too Late, and Darren isn't 100% objectionable (just 85% this time), but their voices, as always, sound TERRIBLE together. SO SO SO terrible. Also the context is making me physically ill. Fuck Klaine 2K15.
1001% here for Quinn/Tina tho, and the Brittana mashup is really great. Heather sounds great.
Even without watching the show, I'm kind of falling for Jane? I love, love, love her voice!!!! And the duet is great, they really complement each other.
The group song is alright. imo Lea just isn't cut out for songs like this, or this genre in general. I like everyone else really, though parts are messy.
I feel like I'm going crazy but I loved episode 2 (episode 1 was a snooze and sob fest). I didn't watch 99% of season 4 and 5 but I am in it for the season this time. The new kids are worth watching imo. Talented, not annoying, and not intended to be carbon copies of anyone. :)
I am trying SO SO HARD to resist watching, even just to see what's going on, because I know it will only end up making me mad.
I might download and only watch the newbie scenes, so that I can get a handle on their personalities, because I think I'm going to include them in my big bang as students at NYADA. At least maybe Jane.
I think I'll only be skipping 4 because Sue is crazy, but Invitationals is episode 5 and the only newbie I truly loved (Kitty) will be back.
I mean, 602 was largely Jane and Roderick's episode (we got two scenes where Mason/Madison talked and two verses compared to multiple scenes, voices, and solos for the other two). I'm not sold on Spencer yet, but I love Mason and Madisons' voices enough to think I'll soon love them.
Really liked the Quinn/Tina duet- too bad it's taken so long to get one since RM doesn't like either of them compounding his severe case of rectal-cranial inversion.

Dianna keeps reminding me why I love her voice so much and I love Jenna on softer songs like this.
Jane and Mason continue to grow my love for these newbies and that mashup is great.

And the group number could be less messy, but an all girls' number with Kurt is always welcome.

where did you stop watching? because book 3 was amazing and then book 4 was great. they really beat the clusterfuck that book 2 was out of the water.
