I don't even care that I dislike the voices and character of 2/5 of the people in this vid. This was sweet.

This was actually really nice and gave me some residual Glee feelings that I'm now trying to repress because misery is in the near future?!

I really *don't* like it. If they want a new love for Rachel, bring in a new person. I don't think Sam has enough charisma to be part of the main couple of the show (if you'd still regard Rachel the main character, that is).

He doesn't, but I don't know that bringing in a new person would work either. If I were in Lea's position, I think I'd be more comfortable working with someone I already know (oh, if only they could bring Jesse back) than having to go through "chemistry tests" with strangers who fans won't react well to simply because they aren't Finn. As gross as Sam's become, he still seems to be popular with the GA and available (whereas Groff has that other show now), and pairing him with Rachel doesn't break up any ships (other than the one he's sort of in rn) so he wouldn't get attacked like he did when dating, on separate occasions, Santana and Brittany...

TBH I'd prefer Rachel to just be single for a while, but I guess that won't happen... I think that you're indeed right and by looking at it rationally (which available males are left that are big with the audience), Sam is the ideal person to bring in. Unfortunately, I am starting to hate his guts :(. I do wonder if this is an end-game scenario though, I really can't see that happening at the moment.
