producers would be faced with the difficult task of deciding which characters currently tied to Lima (and McKinley High) would join Rachel, Kurt and Santana in NYC.
Blaine and Sam, obviously. Artie should be too, but if they continue treating him as a secondary character, what's the point? They probably can't wait to toss Tina out. Ugh.
i'm an artie stan and i was completely satisfied with axing him after he graduated until he was confirmed to go to nyc
idk he still wont get a lot but in honor of that character i think it's fitting to send him to nyc and it'd be interesting to see how he deals with how non-wheel friendly it is there
Per the article this was prompted by Cory's death. I think they clearly had a plan that involved Finn taking over Lima from Will, which isn't going to happen; but Matthew Morrison may already have plans for what he's going to do.
I guess I just assumed that even with Finn taking over Glee club, they wouldn't have dedicated 50% of the show to us watching him try to be Schue/a bunch of other characters that the audience hasn't really connected with as well as the s1-3 cast.

I do hope they make the move...it would be nice to be done with Lima.

Artie is one of the favorite but the show went off the rails, imo when they started trying to give everyone major arc instead of focus epiosdes.
