Isabelle's comments that he should consider making fashion his career and Kurt saying something something similar last ep lead me to the belief he is going to stick with fashion. Its possible his intership will end when SJP leaves and he'll go to a fashion school in the winter semester or something.

I'm pro Kurt/Happiness, but I really wish that his internship could have been drawn out a little more. Even in the first four episodes...one could have been interview, another could have been almost!failure, another could have bee finally gaining respect, etc. #GLEE
