Also I've been super busy. I picked up a second job and dropped my nights at the food cart down to 1/week. But I'm also the co-chair of my local Pridefest, which is tomorrow, and getting that ready has been nuts.
And I've been super fucking depressed for like two months, and my doc changed my meds at the beginning of the month but the only thing they're doing is making me feel the physical symptoms of an anxiety attack basically all the time.
I don't right now because I haven't found a therapist, but I hope that will change soon!
For the last year and a half or so I've been taking SSRIs and they haven't been doing a lot to help, but this summer my doc added Wellbutrin, and then we just increased the dosage about a month ago. But it's making me have the physical symptoms of an anxiety attack ALL THE TIME, and also still not doing anything that I can tell otherwise, so I think we'll probably be changing things when I see my doc again on Thursday. BUT I'm hoping that maybe this time we'll find the right thing!
I think while searching for a therapist, you can start a workbook like the Idiots Guide To CBT.
Yeah, settling on the right medication is so hard because of side effects and some of them don't even work. I started out with escitalopram but it had virtually no effect on me (apart from the nausea). Zoloft has been good aside from the sleeplessness but I was prescribed Zolpidem tablets (I think it's called Ambien in the US) so I have been able to balance things somewhat.
I started my new job today, and it's quite high-pressure so I'm quite curious to see the effect of my medication.

She likes tweets from rad feminists who clearly think trans women are men in disguise. I think JKR has never personally said anything though.

I switched to Zoloft in July and it's been pretty good so far. Do you do CBT or group therapy as well? CBT is so hard but it does really work.
